So… we slept or better said, we have spend the night in our cabin. It was pretty hot inside. Apparently when you turn the air valve to the left too much, you close it. Boy, was I feeling stupid! But… We arrived in Corsica.
This route we took was recommended by acquaintances of ours and I was glad we took it! Not really sure if every passenger in the car thought the same though… During the trip we were climbing and climbing and the view was breathtaking.
Earliest check-in time was 15:00 so we drove to Porte-Vecchio first for a nice lunch at Shirley’s Bar.
This picture immediately gives a good impression of the atmosphere of the town.
After some wondering around we got some groceries and went to the appartment. Apparently i had to call them 1 hour in advance. But we got directions on where a key was hidden so we could let ourselves in. The kids had one mission…
This gave Nikki and i some room to empty the car, dismount the roofbox and a toast on the start of our first week on Corsica.
